Are you a detail-oriented and creative writer with a passion for simplifying complex financial concepts? We are looking for a Technical Copywriter – Financial Promotions to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. In this pivotal role, you’ll combine your flair for writing with a deep understanding of financial regulations to ensure our marketing materials are not only engaging but also fully compliant with FCA rules and Consumer Duty directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the compliance and regulatory authority within the marketing team.
  • Ensure all marketing content adheres to FCA (SYSC) and Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Own and maintain the Financial Promotions manual, ensuring team-wide understanding and adherence.
  • Conduct regular audits of marketing materials for compliance.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Create compelling, compliant content for campaigns, digital channels, and collateral.
  • Support wealth managers, business development, and head office teams with tailored content.
  • Maintain brand consistency and tone of voice across all platforms.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in technical or marketing copywriting, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA SYSC rules and Consumer Duty principles.
  • Experience working in regulated industries.
