Job Description:
- Develops regional information governance and records management strategy in line with GARP framework.
- Assists with the development of enterprise policy governance and regional standards, providing oversight advice and guidance on procedures.
- Ensures that the region’s litigation hold strategy is developed, maintained and operationalized.
- Identifies risks associated with emerging technologies and business processes.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of retention schedules for the region.
- Develops and oversees the region’s disposition process to ensure the routine and defensible destruction of business information.
- Develops and implements regional training and awareness programs.
Qualifications
- Professional interest in information governance, regulatory compliance, legal, or a related field, ideally with some privacy experience.
- Comfort and familiarity with existing and emerging technology, including marketing, targeted advertising, and data analytics.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with flexibility and willingness to dive into any projects requiring support.
- Assist with the preparation of various administrative and management reports; strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required.
- Assist with the research and communication of emerging data protection regulations and requirements.
- Demonstrate a high level of flexibility as assignments will vary by business and team needs and priorities.
