We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our investment team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating third-party investment funds, contributing to strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions, and supporting client-facing marketing efforts. This is a dynamic role that blends deep investment analysis with strategic communication.

The role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years experience looking for a permanent role, or someone with greater experience who may be looking for a part-time role.

Responsibilities

Fund Research & Due Diligence

– Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of funds and ETFs

– Provide recommendations on existing and prospective fund holdings

– Prepare detailed fund reports and present findings to the investment committee

Asset Allocation Support

– Assist in the development and review of strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions

– Contribute to macroeconomic and market research to help inform the investment committee

– Support portfolio construction and rebalancing processes

Client Marketing & Communication

– Update internal advisers on our portfolios and markets

– Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain fund selection and allocation rationale

– Help develop thought leadership content and contribute to investment newsletters

Qualifications

– 3–5 years of experience in fund research, investment analysis, or a related field

– Strong understanding of investment products, asset classes, and portfolio theory

– Proficiency in financial analysis tools (e.g., FE Analytics, Excel)

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate

Someone with a passion for investment who importantly enjoys both investment analysis and presenting to clients and committees. They will be a confident presenter who can answer questions across a range of asset classes while being able to articulate the house view and portfolio positioning. Part-time hours or 3 days a week will be considered for the right candidate.
