Company Overview

Our client is an established specialist recruitment business with a strong reputation across life sciences, clinical research, biotech, CRO, CDMO, and wider pharmaceutical markets across the UK, Europe, and the US. Known for their relationship-led approach and high standards, they focus on quality over volume, with consultants operating true 360 desks and building long-term client partnerships rather than transactional recruitment. They are recognised for combining the feel of a close-knit, collaborative business with the scale and credibility of an international recruitment firm. Consultants are encouraged to think commercially, become genuine market specialists, and build trusted client relationships rather than simply processing vacancies.

The Opportunity – 360 Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Desk)

This role is ideal for a strong 360 recruiter who is already doing well, but knows they are capable of more. You will inherit a warm permanent clinical desk with existing client relationships, live vacancies from day one, dormant accounts ready for reactivation, and strong cross-sell opportunities across both permanent and contract markets. You will also work closely with an experienced billing manager who still leads from the front - someone who understands true 360 recruitment and has a strong track record of developing recruiters into stronger billers and future leaders. This is a hands-on billing role with genuine autonomy, strong earning potential, and clear progression into senior and future leadership opportunities.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong 360 recruitment experience is essential
  • Permanent recruitment experience with true business development responsibility
  • Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle from BD through to delivery and account growth
  • A consistent billing track record at Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Principal Consultant level
  • Experience building client relationships rather than relying solely on inherited accounts
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to self-manage a desk effectively

Value Proposition

  • Warm permanent desk with strong existing client relationships and live vacancies
  • Established, well respected recruitment business with an excellent market reputation
  • True 360 role with ownership and autonomy from day one
  • High-quality client base
  • Strong leadership support from experienced billing manager
  • Hybrid working model (2 days office / 3 days home)
  • High-performance culture focused on quality, not KPI-heavy management
  • Clear progression pathway into future leadership opportunities

For the right individual, this represents an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential desk and build a long-term career within a respected specialist recruitment business. If you are a strong 360 recruiter looking for better clients, stronger leadership, and a business where you can genuinely grow, this is the kind of move worth making.
