This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys leading by example and developing high-quality, relationship-led business development activity. You'll take the time to research prospects, ensuring conversations are relevant, informed, and human – not scripted or automated.

The Role

  • Working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, you'll combine hands-on business development with day-to-day leadership of a Business Development team.
  • You'll focus on generating high-quality appointments for New Business Executives while supporting, coaching, and motivating the team to perform consistently.

This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative, and understands the importance of collaboration and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading consultative, outbound B2B sales activity
  • Creating high-quality sales appointments for New Business Executives
  • Researching prospects ahead of conversations to ensure relevance
  • Managing your own pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Identifying key decision-makers
  • Supporting and managing the BD team day to day, including performance and wellbeing
  • Sharing best practice and reporting on team performance
  • Working closely with colleagues to support business growth

About You

You'll have experience in outbound B2B sales and a proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships. You're confident in having conversations without a script and comfortable balancing personal targets with team leadership.

You'll also:

  • Be comfortable working independently while contributing to a team
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills
