This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys leading by example and developing high-quality, relationship-led business development activity. Our client is a values-driven business that prioritises quality over quantity. You’ll take the time to research prospects, ensuring conversations are relevant, informed, and human – not scripted or automated.

The Role

  • Working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, you’ll combine hands-on business development with day-to-day leadership of a Business Development team.
  • You’ll focus on generating high-quality appointments for New Business Executives while supporting, coaching, and motivating the team to perform consistently.
  • This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative, and understands the importance of collaboration and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading consultative, outbound B2B sales activity
  • Creating high-quality sales appointments for New Business Executives
  • Researching prospects ahead of conversations to ensure relevance
  • Managing your own pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Identifying key decision-makers
  • Supporting and managing the BD team day to day, including performance and wellbeing
  • Sharing best practice and reporting on team performance
  • Working closely with colleagues to support business growth

About You

  • You’ll have experience in outbound B2B sales and a proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships.
  • You’re confident in having conversations without a script and comfortable balancing personal targets with team leadership.
  • You’ll also:
