An opportunity to join one of the market leaders in professional support services in Europe has arisen for an experienced Database Administrator to support and manage the development and operation of our Access Workplace LMS and e-learning portal. You should be able to demonstrate success and experience of Learning Management Systems and administration as well as a genuine interest in technology and working within the L&D function. The Package

  • £28 – 30k Basic Salary
  • 35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
  • Hybrid working – 1-2 days per week following completion of probation
  • Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

The Role

  • Provide customer service, support and resolution for any related LMS or e-learning issues.
  • Act as the main liaison with Access Group for any second- or third-line eLearning and LMS issues, ensuring their speedy resolution and improvement.
  • Help to develop and maintain an issue log, track trends in issues, identify root causes, and drive the resolution of issues.
  • Create, format, enhance and schedule reports within the LMS. Quality check and ensure that integrity of reports.
  • Help to track, maintain and communicate the LMS development roadmap.
  • Participate in beta testing of new system developments and coordinate testing within the business.
  • Testing functionality of new features before live release.
  • Support with optimising the LMS, including identifying gaps and solutions and implementing recommendations for corrective action.
  • General administrative and ad hoc clerical duties to support the Training Department.

Digital learning design and development

  • Assist in the design and development of digital learning assets for online courses.
  • Play an active role in the design and delivery of eye-catching effective branding, digital and integrated communication and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and key customers to support the development of a range of digital learning solutions to meet business needs.

The Person

  • Experience of working with Access Workspace, other learning management system / e-learning platform or content management platform.
  • Computer literate and understanding of basic web technology (FTP, browsers, Basic HTML, CSV and SCORM files).
  • Familiar with data management and good experience in Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Previous experience of, or interest in, creating and curating digital learning content.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience of Articulate Rise/360 files or similar content creation eg Synthesia software would be an advantage.
