The IFA Administrator Role:
Working alongside experienced Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, the IFA Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the financial planning process.
IFA Administrator Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners
- Preparing and processing client documentation, applications, and new business
- Managing client correspondence and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with providers, platforms and third parties to obtain information and progress cases
- Processing new business and monitoring applications through to completion
- Arranging client meetings and maintaining adviser diaries where required
- Preparing meeting packs, valuations, and supporting documentation
- Updating and maintaining client records and ensuring systems remain accurate and compliant
- Assisting with ongoing client servicing and review processes
- Following up outstanding requirements and ensuring cases progress within agreed timescales
- Supporting the wider financial planning team with day-to-day administrative requirements
IFA Administrator - The Person
The successful candidate will have previous and current experience within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment and will have a strong understanding of the administration involved in supporting financial advisers. The business is looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within an IFA or financial planning environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients, advisers, and external providers
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
- Professional, proactive, and able to work independently
- A strong team player who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work
- Confident using Microsoft Office and financial services CRM/adviser systems
- Experience of working with platforms, pensions, investments, and protection would be advantageous, although full product knowledge is not essential.
