Our client, a beautiful restaurant with fantastic views along the seafront, is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie! This is a great opportunity for a motivated Chef de Partie to progress their career with an award winning restaurant on the beautiful Suffolk Coast. This award winning restaurant is in a beautiful hotel, and not only cater to a la carte restaurant diners, but also for lunches, afternoon teas and functions and events.
This busy venue is looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie who is ideally wanting to join a professional kitchen, to learn and develop their skills. The team is headed by an award winning chef, and they focus on high quality, fresh food, all prepared in house.
Working within an enthusiastic kitchen brigade, as Chef de Partie you will be a pivotal member of this growing team. The ideal Chef de Partie will be dynamic, motivated and eager to assist the Senior Chefs with running this popular restaurant. You will ideally be experienced in all sections and have a flair for creating new and exciting dishes using fresh local produce. You will also have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy fresh food environment, and experience in high volume turnover is preferred.
The ideal Chef de Partie will see this as a long term appointment and have a desire to progress within the brigade.
The successful Chef de Partie will:
- Be able to manage their section on a day-to-day basis as well as cover all sections competently.
- Have good levels of communication and people management skills required.
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about delivering high standards.
- Have strong teamwork ideals to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
This venue is accessible from Aldeburgh, Southwold and Saxmundham, and a car driver will be preferred due to location.
