Senior Accountant (Practice) – Year-End, Tax P11Ds Leigh-on-Sea | £38,000–£45,000 DOE | Full-time A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established practice in Leigh-on-Sea. This role is ideal for someone confident managing year-end work independently and supporting a diverse client portfolio. The Role You will take ownership of key accounting responsibilities and work closely with the Practice Partner. Key duties include: Preparing year-end accounts without supervision Completing tax computations Preparing P11Ds Managing and reviewing nominal ledger accounts Working across multiple accounting software packages Supporting the partner with client queries and reporting About You You’ll bring strong technical expertise and the ability to work accurately and independently. You must have: Extensive experience working with nominal ledger accounts Strong practice background (minimum 3+ years preferred) Comprehensive knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and other accounting systems Solid understanding of year-end processes and tax compliance You may be: QBE , part-qualified , or fully qualified What’s on Offer Salary £38,000–£45,000 DOE Direct reporting line to the Practice Partner Supportive, professional working environment Genuine progression opportunities
