Senior Sous Chef

This busy stunning Restaurant located between Chelmsford and Braintree, based in Essex is known around the county for their good food and fantastic atmosphere. We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their talented brigade and continue the fine reputation they have in Essex. The venue operates a modern British with a twist menu.

As Senior Sous Chef you will be able to demonstrate a high level background, and have a flair and originality to bring to the team. The ideal Senior Sous Chef must be a competent all-rounder, able to cover all sections and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence and have some knowledge of GP’s and hygiene legislation.

The ideal Senior Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation. Whilst being able to work in a team, they should take their own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.

Skills Required:

· The ideal Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation.

· Be able to work in a team, use your own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas.

· Have knowledge of Menu Completion, Stock control and Rotas.

· Variety of shifts including splits, evenings and weekend.

Due to location a car driver is essential.
