The Role
- Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice by providing technical research, analysis and report writing across a broad range of client needs.
- Conducting detailed technical research and financial analysis.
- Supporting advisers with complex financial planning cases.
- Researching pensions, investments, estate planning and protection solutions.
- Working with a range of leading investment and platform providers.
- Ensuring recommendations comply with FCA regulations and internal quality standards.
- Building strong working relationships with advisers and the wider team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an Independent Financial Advice (IFA) practice.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Experience supporting high-net-worth clients, particularly those approaching or in retirement.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, estate planning and protection.
- Experience using cashflow modelling software.
- Excellent report writing, analytical and technical research skills.
- The confidence to challenge constructively to help deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Ambition to achieve Chartered status and develop into a Senior Paraplanner.
