An established, highly respected Independent Financial Planning firm with over 35 years of success is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its friendly and professional team based in the Tonbridge area.

The Role

  • Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice by providing technical research, analysis and report writing across a broad range of client needs.
  • Conducting detailed technical research and financial analysis.
  • Supporting advisers with complex financial planning cases.
  • Researching pensions, investments, estate planning and protection solutions.
  • Working with a range of leading investment and platform providers.
  • Ensuring recommendations comply with FCA regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Building strong working relationships with advisers and the wider team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an Independent Financial Advice (IFA) practice.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth clients, particularly those approaching or in retirement.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, estate planning and protection.
  • Experience using cashflow modelling software.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and technical research skills.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively to help deliver the best outcomes for clients.
  • Ambition to achieve Chartered status and develop into a Senior Paraplanner.
