We are looking for an experienced Area Chef Manager to join a fresh food gastro pub company based in Essex. This popular pub company has multiple venues within the group, and is a favourite of not just local, but also traveling customers. This company is well-known and is passionate about changing the menus and creating outstanding meals from fresh seasonal produce.
The successful Area Chef Manager will be looking after 2 sites based in Mid-Essex. You will oversee the kitchen operations and staff across 2 Gastro Pubs, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to company standards. This role combines the responsibilities of a traditional Head Chef with the added complexity of managing multiple kitchens and supporting the teams within both venues.
Previous multi-site experience and a car driver are essential for this role. The position offers a 5-day working week. 2 days will be office days, working 9 am - 3 pm, and the remaining days will be standard kitchen hours.
