Location: Near Woodbridge, Suffolk

Salary: £13.72 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year

We are looking for a Food Service Team Member to join the catering team at a busy school near Woodbridge.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across the school's front-of-house food service, café, tuck shop and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving food and refreshments to students, staff and visitors
• Supporting daily food service and meal distribution
• Working in the café and tuck shop
• Setting up and clearing dining and service areas
• Assisting with school functions, events and hospitality
• Serving refreshments at meetings and events
• Replenishing food and drinks
• Operating tills and taking payments where required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Supporting the wider catering team wherever required

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable and customer-focused
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• A good team player with a positive attitude
• Organised and willing to get involved in a variety of tasks
• Experienced in catering, hospitality, food service.
• A car driver with access to your own vehicle – essential due to the location and working hours

Working Hours

40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year.

Shifts vary and may include:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 11:00am – 7:00pm

Some weekend working is required, particularly to support school events and functions.
