We are recruiting an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the team at an award-winning luxury hotel with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant in Suffolk.
Working alongside a talented brigade, you'll help deliver high-quality, seasonal food while maintaining excellent standards of preparation, presentation and service.
Key Responsibilities
Run and maintain your own section
Prepare and cook dishes to 2 AA Rosette standards
Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team
Help lead the kitchen during busy services
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Support and develop junior chefs
Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
Maintain food hygiene and kitchen standards
About You
Minimum 1 year's experience as a Junior Sous Chef
Previous 2 AA Rosette or quality restaurant experience essential
Passion for fine food and high-quality cooking
Confident running your own section
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Keen to develop and progress your career
NVQ Professional Cookery preferred but not essential. Level 2 Food Hygiene required.
