We are recruiting an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the team at an award-winning luxury hotel with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant on the Essex/Suffolk border.
Working alongside a talented brigade, you'll help deliver high-quality, seasonal food while maintaining excellent standards of preparation, presentation and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and maintain your own section
- Prepare and cook dishes to 2 AA Rosette standards
- Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team
- Help lead the kitchen during busy services
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Support and develop junior chefs
- Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
- Maintain food hygiene and kitchen standards
About You
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a Junior Sous Chef
- Previous 2 AA Rosette or quality restaurant experience essential
- Passion for fine food and high-quality cooking
- Confident running your own section
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- Keen to develop and progress your career
NVQ Professional Cookery preferred but not essential. Level 2 Food Hygiene required.
