If so, read on… Our client is a beautiful and successful restaurant group with fantastic views across the Essex countryside, and they are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie looking to progress their career within an award-winning restaurant group. Their venues include gastro pubs and restaurants, catering for à la carte dining, lunches, afternoon teas, functions and events.

These busy venues are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie who is keen to join a professional kitchen environment where they can continue to learn, develop and build their skills. Each site is headed by an award-winning chef, with a strong focus on high-quality, fresh food prepared in-house.

The Role

Working across enthusiastic and professional kitchen brigades, you will be a key member of the team, supporting the Senior Chefs with the day-to-day running of these popular venues. The ideal Chef de Partie will be dynamic, motivated and confident working across all sections of the kitchen. You should have a passion for fresh food and enjoy creating high-quality dishes using fresh, local produce. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy, fresh-food kitchen, with experience in a high-volume environment preferred. As a Multi-Site Chef de Partie, you will be required to work across all three sites, providing cover for day-to-day operations, holidays and sickness where required. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Chef de Partie who is looking to develop their career and progress within a successful restaurant group.

The Successful Chef de Partie Will:

  • Be confident managing their own section on a day-to-day basis.
  • Be competent and comfortable working across all sections of the kitchen.
  • Have excellent communication and people skills.

Location

The venues are easily accessible from Colchester, Maldon and Ipswich. Due to the rural location of one of the sites and limited public transport, a driving licence and access to a car are recommended.
