We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly accountancy practice in Benfleet. If you enjoy taking ownership of your work, thrive in a varied role, and want to be part of a supportive team that values your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing Purchase, Sales and Nominal Ledgers
- Processing payroll accurately and efficiently
- Completing bank and nominal ledger reconciliations
- Supporting clients with day-to-day bookkeeping requirements
- Assisting with general office administration when required
- Supporting Tax Computations and P11Ds (experience in these areas would be beneficial)
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
- A strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- The ability to complete reconciliations independently and accurately
- Confidence using accounting software and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach
- Bonus points if you have experience preparing Tax Computations and P11Ds.
