About the role
A fine dining restaurant near Billericay and Brentwood is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join its small, passionate kitchen brigade. The restaurant holds 2 AA Rosettes and serves creative, modern cuisine, including private dining.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to prepare high-quality desserts using fresh, seasonal produce. This role would suit an organised, motivated chef with a creative approach to pastry and a strong eye for detail.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present desserts to a consistently high standard
- Contribute ideas for creative, seasonal dishes
- Maintain high standards of food quality, organisation and cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
- Support other kitchen sections when required
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar kitchen role
- Previous experience in an AA Rosette or similar quality-led kitchen preferred
- Strong pastry skills and good knowledge of desserts
- Creativity, reliability and excellent attention to detail
- Pride in your work and a willingness to learn
- Full driving licence and access to a car, essential due to the location
