As part of Raylo’s Engineering team, you’ll play a central role in delivering a seamless customer experience across our web and mobile platforms. You’ll join a fast‑moving, mission‑driven company at the forefront of the circular economy. Working in a cross‑functional squad alongside product, design, and backend engineers, you’ll contribute to the development of new features, iterate on existing ones, and run A/B tests that directly impact user growth and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality, scalable frontend experiences across Raylo’s web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define approaches to new features, solve technical challenges, and maintain system integrity.
• Stay current with industry trends and bring fresh perspectives into the team, advocating for modern best practices and scalable solutions.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to iterate on growth initiatives, such as A/B tests and new feature launches that improve the user journey.
• Work in an agile environment, taking ownership of your work from concept through to release and ongoing refinement.
• Help maintain a high‑quality codebase through testing, code reviews, refactoring, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas for system and process enhancements, particularly in how we optimise for performance and scale.

You’ll Succeed with:

• 3+ years of frontend and/or mobile (React Native) engineering experience in a product‑focused, agile, and fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, with strong familiarity across the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Enthusiasm for sustainability and a desire to contribute to a product that reduces waste and improves accessibility.
• Hands‑on experience with React and React Native for web and mobile app development.
• Understanding of testing frontend and React Native code and ensuring quality through CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and decisions with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bonus points for experience with server‑side rendering Next.js or GraphQL.
