We are pleased to announce our Summer Vacation Scheme 2026, offering undergraduate students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience in family law and explore a career in the legal profession. This programme is designed to support candidates at the earliest stages of their career, providing a clear pathway from initial exposure to law through to qualification.

Participants will:

  • Work alongside experienced lawyers on substantive legal matters
  • Attend structured training sessions and professional development workshops
  • Gain insight into our organisational culture and approach to client service
  • Where possible, observe court proceedings and attend client meetings (please note that this isn’t guaranteed as it will depend on availability and suitability but we will try to arrange where possible)

The scheme provides an invaluable opportunity to acquire practical skills, deepen your understanding of family law, and experience the work of a leading legal practice.

Dates: 29 June 2026 - 3 July 2026

Applications deadline: 1st April 2026

Eligibility: Undergraduate students and recent graduates from any discipline with a strong interest in family law

Office Locations: Participating offices will be Bishops Stortford, Beaconsfield and Harpenden.
