We are looking for an ambitious family law Senior Associate or Legal Director to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning team and continue your family law career, alongside industry leading family law specialists.
THE ROLE:
- You will work on an interesting case load of all aspects of family law.
- Supervise, support and develop junior fee earners, encouraging teamwork, collaboration and professional development.
- Contribute to the firm’s business plan and strategic objectives through proactive business development, marketing, networking and the generation of referrals.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the firm, strengthening relationships with clients, referrers, other professionals and external recognition bodies.
- Maintain effective communication across the practice and participate in internal meetings, training, strategy updates and firm events.
- Support the firm’s growth, reputation and commercial success through a proactive, collaborative and client-focused approach.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You will be trained and have practised in well-regarded family teams/firms.
- Experience in all key areas of private family law including financial proceedings, private Children Act applications, nuptial agreements and cohabitation work including Schedule 1 applications. This firm does not carry out any legal aid work so you will need substantial private practice experience.
- You will have strong written and spoken communication skills and have an eye for detail.
- Experience of supporting junior fee earners.
- Experience of managing your own caseload.
- Management experience is desirable.
