Rayden Engineering Ltd is a Mechanical & Civil Engineering Company, based in the East Midlands of England, specialising in the pre-fabrication, welding and installation of pipework systems of a wide variety of alloys. We are involved in the installation of Cross-country Pipelines and Pipeline Diversions (up to 42) and Above Ground Installations (AGIs). Our continued success and growth necessitates the appointment of experienced skilled Industrial Paint Sprayer / Painter.

Working at our head office location in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, the successful candidate will be driven and motivated with a proven track record. The role will be varied, working on heavy fabrications for high profile structural steel and pipework projects. It will include preparation and fettling of metal surfaces, using single and 2-pack paint systems, offering the chance to work on interesting projects. We require someone who is comfortable working on large fabrications and mobile to ensure all areas of the product are covered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing bespoke heavy fabrications ready for priming and paint application.
  • Application of single and 2-pack paint systems by both brush and spray application.
  • Using hand and power tools to prepare surfaces.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
  • Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within an engineering environment.
  • Flexibility to support colleagues with other activities within a busy workshop environment.
  • Experience of assembly of steel and pipe components would be advantageous.
  • Good awareness of health & safety practices.
  • Strong ability to follow instructions, work well within a team, and ensure safety standards are adhered to.
