Raybell and Sons are Northamptonshire\’s leading skip hire company, having been at the forefront of recycling and waste management solutions for over 30 years.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable fitter to join our workshop team to maintain, repair and service a wide range of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on HGV’s and plant machinery
- Carry out routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Perform services and prep vehicles for MOT
- Keep accurate records of work carried out
- Communicate job progress, issues and parts requirements to the office team regularly.
Competencies
- Proven experience as a workshop fitter (HGV & Plant)
- Valid qualification in machinery maintenance (or equivalent)
- Organised, with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Reliable, self-motivated and safety conscious
- Excellent communication skills
