Raybell and Sons are Northamptonshire\’s leading skip hire company, having been at the forefront of recycling and waste management solutions for over 30 years.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable fitter to join our workshop team to maintain, repair and service a wide range of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on HGV’s and plant machinery
  • Carry out routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Perform services and prep vehicles for MOT
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out
  • Communicate job progress, issues and parts requirements to the office team regularly.

Competencies

  • Proven experience as a workshop fitter (HGV & Plant)
  • Valid qualification in machinery maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Organised, with the ability to manage workload effectively
  • Reliable, self-motivated and safety conscious
  • Excellent communication skills
