Role: Business Development & Pre-Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Networking: Attend construction, property and commercial real estate events across the UK. Build relationships with architects, project managers, QS firms, developers, landlords, commercial agents, and consultants. Generate opportunities for: Commercial fit-outs, Refurbishments, New-build projects, Design & Build contracts.
  • Tender Management: Monitor tender portals. Review tender opportunities. Decide which tenders are worth pursuing. Coordinate bid submissions. Collect required documents from: Estimators, QS, Architects, Supply chain.
  • Partner Development: Build relationships with: Architects, Structural Engineers, Commercial Agents, Property Managers, Facilities Management Companies, Developers. Create referral partnerships.
  • Pre-Construction Coordination: Arrange site visits. Gather drawings and specifications. Coordinate estimates and quotations. Obtain subcontractor pricing. Prepare commercial proposals.
  • Client Meetings: Book meetings. Attend meetings. Present company capability. Negotiate commercial terms. Follow up until contract award.
  • Deal Closure: Convert enquiries into signed contracts. Manage pipeline. Ensure smooth handover to operations team.
