At Rawlence & Browne, we're looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our growing practice. We're a modern, independent firm of accountants who believe that great client service starts with a happy team. Your work will include a mixture of bookkeeping and accounts support for a wide range of small businesses, including:
- Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software (primarily Xero)
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase and sales ledger processing
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients by telephone and email
- Helping clients with bookkeeping queries
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
- Confident preparing bookkeeping records and VAT Returns
- Can prepare accounts and tax returns for limited companies
- Experience using cloud accounting software (Xero experience would be an advantage)
Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
Office-based role in our Salisbury office
