The Raw Dog Food Freezer Job Role is essential for ensuring the quality and availability of our premium pet food products. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a passion for animal care are paramount. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and handling of raw dog food, maintaining freezer conditions, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners.
Responsibilities
- Control and liaise with delivery drivers with the deliveries coming in and put away safely in the big walk-in freezer.
- Make sure all small freezers on the shop floor are fully stocked daily.
- Stock rotation.
- Manage the organisation and storage of raw dog food within the freezer area, ensuring that all products are correctly labelled and stored at appropriate temperatures.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding raw dog food products, providing knowledgeable advice based on their pets' dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the freezer area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when restocking or moving products within the freezer.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
