At RAW, the Senior Creative Strategist plays a truly pivotal role. Taking full ownership of a diverse range of charity sector accounts, you'll lead on developing the big creative, campaign, and content strategies that underpin our ideas - from creative propositions and messaging platforms to innovative fundraising products. Working closely with our account, creative and production teams, you'll partner with client stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges, and market trends. You will use that knowledge to conduct research, facilitate workshops, and challenge briefs, transforming complex data into the internal creative briefs that inspire standout work. Because this is a senior role, you'll also help pitch bold new business ideas and work alongside our Strategy Director to evolve RAW’s approach to strategy, ensuring we always bring a fresh perspective to emerging client challenges.

At the heart of the role:

  • Leading on strategy for a range of accounts, including developing campaign strategies, insight reports, messaging platforms, fundraising products and internal creative briefs.
  • Conducting research on audience, market and behavioural dynamics to inform strategic direction, collaborating with research partners where needed.
  • Challenge and refine client briefs, and facilitate bold creative development with a clear perspective on client opportunity and audience needs.
  • Contributing to new business, helping pitch bold, insight led ideas.
  • Working closely with our accounts team to identify opportunities with existing clients and grow client accounts.
  • Collaborating closely with clients and partners to understand goals, challenges and opportunities.
  • Leading workshops and reviews with client stakeholders.
  • Working closely with our creative team to help shape standout creative ideas.
  • Supporting clients to navigate emerging challenges in fundraising.
  • Support the Strategy Director to maintain a focus on best practice, spot opportunities for evolution and ensure RAW’s approach to strategy best meets client needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering strategic thinking as a strategist, creative strategist or similar within a marketing or fundraising function.
  • Experience working either in house within the third sector or extensive experience with third sector clients.
  • A strong understanding of creative testing and experience collaborating with media agencies.
  • Demonstrable skills turning research and data into clear insights and ambitious strategic direction.
  • Collaborative approach and enthusiasm to work closely with creative teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Confident in hosting client presentations and workshops.
  • Comfortable working independently, as well as collaborating closely with other strategists and teams.
  • Passion for third sector communication and a belief in the power of creativity as a driving force for change.

Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in our London office (Wednesday and Friday) with the rest of the time remote working from home.

Contract: Full time

Salary: £50-55k depending on experience
