We help companies get compensation right. What we get paid at work has a massive impact on our lives, and it’s one of the biggest factors in hiring and retaining talent - and yet so many companies struggle to get it right. They simply have no choice but to rely on poor data and unsophisticated tools for their pay decisions. That’s why we created Ravio. We help many of the world’s most innovative and ambitious companies build stronger teams and reach their goals through better compensation. Our real-time data platform brings compensation into the modern age, tracking the market across all compensation types from salary to equity and benefits. We’re passionate about ensuring everyone is paid what they deserve, no matter their background or circumstances. We believe that when compensation is done right, everyone wins.
Ravio is growing fast, which means you can too. We’ve established ourselves as the European leader in our space serving more than 1,500 clients, and now have our sights set on becoming the global go-to place for compensation data and tools for managing compensation. Joining a startup and scaling it into a global product is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a career can offer. If that sounds exciting to you, you’re in the right place.
Our Sales team is the first human connection companies have with Ravio, and that matters. We’re deeply customer-centric, leading with education and insight before selling. Rather than pushing products, we partner with organisations to understand their challenges and guide them toward smarter, more modern compensation decisions.
The Role
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the DACH region, building and scaling one of Ravio’s most strategically important markets. Germany is already our second highest market in regards to revenue and customer size. This is a rare opportunity to truly own a territory: shaping regional strategy, developing market presence, and becoming the trusted face of Ravio across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Working closely with our founders and Commercial leadership, you’ll become a recognised expert in compensation, helping uncover emerging market trends while influencing how Ravio expands internationally. You’ll operate across the full commercial lifecycle, from prospecting and outbound strategy through to negotiation and closing with meaningful autonomy and responsibility from day one.
We’re looking for someone hungry, self-driven, and genuinely people-oriented. You combine strong commercial instinct with high emotional intelligence, able to build credibility with everyone from early-career HR leaders to seasoned C-suite executives. You thrive in ownership environments, deliver results independently, and enjoy turning ambiguity into opportunity. SaaS sales experience and/or knowledge of the compensation space is a strong advantage but curiosity, drive, and ambition matter most.
If you’re excited by the idea of owning a region, building a market, and helping scale a category-defining company with global ambitions, we’d love to hear from you. We're open to this role being based in both London OR Berlin.
Responsibilities:
- Own the DACH region and entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close.
- Research, identify and approach potential customers in the DACH region tech industry - ranging from seed-stage all the way to public tech companies.
- Develop a deep understanding of the wide range of compensation-related challenges faced by tech companies today, and how Ravio can help.
- Build strong relationships and maintain ongoing dialogues with prospective customers.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and SDR to build top of funnel and Customer Success team to ensure a smooth handover of newly onboarded customers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of your territory.
- Share insights and work closely with our Product team to further refine our suite of data products and workflow tools.
Requirements:
- Ability to create trust and enthusiasm with potential customers through a positive, energetic and personable approach.
- Develop a quick understanding of customer needs through strong qualification skills.
- High sense of ownership for your territory with a bias for action.

- Excellent communication skills (incl. strong active listening skills and the ability to empathise).
- Team player, resilient, and adaptable to change, whilst thriving in a fast moving and remote setting.
- Fluent German speaking.
- B2B SaaS sales experience with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quota. However, we are also willing to consider candidates without a sales background (e.g. HR, recruiting, customer success).
- Hybrid working in our London office.
- Bonus points for experience working in an HR Tech business before.
