We help companies get compensation right. What we get paid at work has a massive impact on our lives, and it’s one of the biggest factors in hiring and retaining talent - and yet so many companies struggle to get it right. They simply have no choice but to rely on poor data and unsophisticated tools for their pay decisions. That’s why we created Ravio. We help many of the world’s most innovative and ambitious companies build stronger teams and reach their goals through better compensation. Our real-time data platform brings compensation into the modern age with clarity and transparency. We’re passionate about ensuring everyone is paid what they deserve, no matter their background or circumstances. We believe that when compensation is done right, everyone wins. Ravio is growing fast, which means you can too. We’ve established ourselves as the European leader in our space serving more than 1,200 clients, and now have our sights set on becoming the global go-to place for compensation data and tools for managing compensation.
The Role
We're looking for an Insights Analyst to join our Insights team, helping us scale the analytical work that sits at the heart of Ravio's product and commercial success. As our second Insights Analyst, you'll expand our capacity to deliver across a broad range of work — from marketing insights, building and maintaining dashboards, and leveraging AI to unlock new compensation insights for our product. This is a role for someone who is comfortable owning a wide remit where no two months are the same. Rather than specialising narrowly, you'll build domain knowledge across all Ravio functions, making you a genuine partner to all stakeholders helping them to deliver high-impact in their day-to-day work.
As an Insights Analyst at Ravio, you will…
- Support R&D and new vertical research, helping Ravio expand into new benchmarking areas, leveraging AI where appropriate.
- Support our benchmarking QA process, ensuring data quality is consistent as our benchmarking coverage grows.
- Contribute to marketing insights, including data-driven blog posts and campaign analysis that showcase Ravio's compensation intelligence.
- Maintain and improve Looker's presentation layer, ensuring dashboards are accurate, accessible, and our semantic layer is well-structured for end users.
- Deliver custom benchmarks for our customers, producing accurate and commercially meaningful outputs for clients and our sales team.
- Build comprehensive domain knowledge across all insight ownership areas, providing cover and continuity across the team.
Your Key Skills
Essential
- Strong understanding of how data supports and provides value to business teams.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to adopt AI tooling or agentic workflows for data analysis.
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL for data analysis.
- Experience with Looker or other BI tooling.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst or adjacent role.
Desirable
- Knowledge of semantic layers and making this user-friendly for non-technical users.
- Knowledge of dbt and git.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python).
- Startup (Series A+) experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a compensation/reward analyst.
What you’ll get:
- The opportunity to be part of the early team of a category-defining company backed by a strong roster of world-class investors.
- An inclusive work environment characterised by a high degree of trust, respect and integrity.
- The ability to work closely with and learn from the company’s founders as well as a highly ambitious team of smart, mission-driven individuals.
- A high degree of autonomy and the opportunity for fast-tracked professional growth.
- While we’re very focused at work, we also know how to have fun in the process and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
- Competitive compensation (and we know what we’re talking about!) with significant upside potential for high performance. And company equity, of course.
- An amazing benefits package for everyone, regardless of their role or level, including generous paid time off allowances as well as enhanced parental leave benefits.
