Salary: JG4.7 £25,584 to £27,269 per annum. Actual salary: £19,652-£20,946 per annum.
Ravenswood is a special school for young people with Special Educational Needs based in Nailsea. We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join our expanding team. Staff may work across the school within the Primary department, Secondary department, or Post 16 which cater for pupils who are working at early pre-key stage standards through to those working at Entry Levels and GCSE.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils on a daily basis, support small learning groups, work with staff to ensure an inclusive approach, and collaborate to support the learning needs of pupils. The successful candidate will make an important contribution to the school ethos.
Requirements:
- Some experience of working with pupils with additional needs.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Ability to communicate well with pupils, teachers and adults.
