Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates for various projects.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities within tenders.
  • Working closely with design and project teams to ensure alignment between costings and project requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and supporting contract negotiations.
  • Staying updated on market rates, materials, and emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with estimating software and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred).
