Key Responsibilities * Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical services projects * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations * Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders, including value engineering * Collaborating with design and project teams to align costings with delivery plans * Presenting estimates to senior management and supporting tender submissions * Assisting with contract negotiations and handover to delivery teams * Keeping up to date with market rates, materials, and emerging technologies Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or construction industry * Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Proficiency with estimating software and Excel * Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness * Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset * Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred) Benefits * Competitive salary: £55,000 – £65,000 * Comprehensive benefits package * A supportive, family-run business with a real emphasis on work-life balance * Low staff turnover and a friendly, close-knit team culture * Opportunities to work on varied and technically interesting projects * Clear career development within an established, respected business
