Position: Electrical Estimator Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + benefits Location: Liverpool Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Job Summary As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of electrical projects. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop detailed bids and play a critical role in ensuring project success. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects across various sectors. * Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine scope and costs. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive bids. * Identify potential risks and opportunities in the estimation process. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and pricing. * Present estimates to senior management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations. * Support the handover from estimation to project execution, ensuring smooth transitions. Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or engineering industry. * Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. * Proficiency in estimation software and tools. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. * In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and installation processes. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field are preferred.
