What You’ll Be Doing * Producing electrical designs from concept through to construction stage * Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to develop clear, buildable solutions * Reviewing specifications, drawings, and client requirements * Undertaking calculations, lighting designs, cable sizing, and distribution layouts * Supporting tender and construction documentation * Liaising with pre-construction, estimating, and site delivery teams * Conducting site visits as needed to assess design integration and buildability * Assisting junior design staff and contributing to continuous design improvement Skills & Experience Required * Strong background in electrical building services design * Experience working for a contractor or consultancy on commercial and public sector projects * Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Relux) * Excellent communication and coordination skills * Knowledge of current building regs and BS 7671 wiring regulations * Ability to manage workload across multiple projects * Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Benefits * Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 depending on experience * Comprehensive benefits package * Work on high-quality, technically interesting projects * Join a company with a collaborative and progressive culture * Long-term career development opportunities
