This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with either early-stage estimating experience or a site-based electrical background looking to step into pre-construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the production of electrical estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
  • Assisting in sourcing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Learning how to identify risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Keeping track of cost breakdowns, amendments, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborating with senior estimators and operational teams
  • Attending pre-tender site visits where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Some prior experience in electrical estimating or a background as an electrician/site-based professional
  • Understanding of electrical building services systems (e.g., lighting, containment, power)
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and able to interpret basic drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communicator, both written and verbal
