Working in the Registry Function at Ravensbourne, the primary purpose of the role is to understand the Student Records System (SITS) configuration at RUL, across the entire range of functionality and to ensure the Student Records System (SRS) is fully operational for both students & staff throughout the academic year. Ensure all SRS/SITS related documentation is both up to date and readily accessible.
Work in project teams to perform impact analysis and development of future SITS requirements. Testing of any new SITS developments where needed. Work with IT and Registry colleagues on the database infrastructure, looking for improvements and enhancements to support business as usual and strategic direction of the University.
Provide business users with periodic and ad-hoc reports. Strong understanding of the HE Registry function and the function of other HE business areas.
The ideal person will be educated to degree or equivalent, preferably have HE experience, have an excellent track record in working with student record systems (preferable SITS), experience and involvement in student records system development projects, be able to analyse and manipulate SRS data, and have experience of improvements and enhancements of the database and its infrastructure.
