At Ravensbourne, we are looking for an experienced course leader to deliver and evolve our undergraduate degree course. We have expanded our portfolio of photography courses which has resulted in exciting opportunities to join our team. As part of the Design department, our commercially-focused photography course is seeking a candidate with experience as a course leader and a demonstrated commitment to prioritising student success. Working successfully within our team is a high priority. An engaging, practical, and hands-on teaching approach is essential along with an international research profile that can be demonstrated as influencing the teaching experience and curriculum development of the course.
The role includes teaching approximately 16 hours per week in our purpose-built photographic studio environment. You will guide and mentor the photography team, contribute to curriculum development, and collaborate with various disciplines within the design department as well as other departments, including fashion. At Ravensbourne University London, we are focused on preparing students for industry. We work to high standards with complex and evolving technology and recognise the direction of the industry. You’ll be working closely with our MFA/MA Digital Photography course leader to further our current collaborations with prominent industry partners and an innovative work-based learning programme.
