Trainee Accountant in Bolton

We are looking for aTrainee Accountant to join an established firm of Chartered Accountants providing a range of accountancy and tax services for both businesses and individuals.
The working hours are 9am - 5pm, Mon-Fri (40hrs per week).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a team of experienced accountants, while working towards a professional accounting qualification.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to our team of experienced accountants
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and VAT returns
• Learn and assist with bookkeeping tasks
• Learn and assist with payroll tasks
• Learn and assist with tax planning and compliance
• Completing on-the-job training and off-the-job training to achieve a professional accounting qualification (AAT) Day release will be granted to the candidates selected college
  

Qualifications And Experience

• A minimum of 7 GCSEs at grade B or above, including Maths and English
• Strong interest in accounting and finance
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
