Position Overview
As a Patient Service Benefits Coordinator youβll work closely with the Medical Billing team, Clinical Staff and Patients to ensure they receive the care needed and maximize benefit reimbursement. Specific tasks will include:
- Processing insurance verifications and prior-authorizations
- Coordination of benefits with treatment plans
- Assisting patients with applications for benefits
- Working directly with commercial and government payers on insurance matters
- Other administrative tasks in support of the department
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with Benefits/Health Insurance
- Strong administrative and customer service skills
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records, Medical Billing and Insurance Portals a plus
- Ability to work in-office Monday to Friday first shift
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
