Muve Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Peripatetic Manager to join a well-established care provider supporting services across the North West. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and hands-on manager who enjoys variety and is passionate about delivering outstanding care. As a Peripatetic Manager, you will provide management support across multiple services, covering planned leave, vacancies, new service mobilisations, and operational needs while ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide management support across a number of care services within the North East.
- Lead and motivate staff teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ensure services remain compliant with CQC standards and company policies.
- Support services during inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance where required.
- Work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect, and excellent outcomes for people using the service.
About You
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Peripatetic Manager, or experienced Deputy Manager within adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- The ability to adapt quickly and confidently manage different services.
- A flexible approach to travel across the North East.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or working towards) is desirable.
Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (rota basis) Shifts: 8:00am – 8:00pm or 8:00pm – 8:00am
