Hybrid working - expected office days Tuesday and Thursday, with flexibility to attend face-to-face meetings and training when required.

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Business Partnering Team.
What you will achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to work collaboratively as part of the Finance Business Partnering team to deliver a quality service for budget holders and the Leadership Team by providing relevant and insightful financial analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing management accounts in line with monthly timelines, providing analysis and commentary on allocated budgets.
- Analysing financial data, working with Finance Business Partners to review current spend, forecasts and budget variances to ensure month-end accounts are accurate and reliable.
- Assisting Finance Business Partners and relevant budget holders in the compilation of budgets and forecasts to cover all of Raven's activities.
- Analysing transactions requiring recoding, investigating causes and resolving any issues.
- Supporting non-finance colleagues on the application of basic accounting concepts and interpretation of financial data.
- Timely reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts.
What you will bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Minimum AAT / CCAB part-qualified.
- Strong knowledge and experience with financial costing and analysis, with the ability to produce insightful information from the data.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the process and production of management accounts.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships, with proven questioning and listening skills.
- DBS clearance will be required for this role.
