Raven Housing Trust is a community Housing Association that provides affordable homes for around 6,500 households in one of the most expensive parts of the country. As well as providing good quality, affordable, and sustainable homes, we provide support services for those who need them including financial advice, employment and training. We’re building new homes by regenerating our existing land and estates and purchasing additional sites. But it’s not what we do; it’s how we do it that sets us apart from other organisations and helps us create a great customer experience, because we care. At Raven, our purpose is to build homes and change lives, creating lasting change and enhancing the lives of those we serve.
We are looking for a new Chair to build on our success and help us deliver what matters. This is a role where you can encourage open and constructive debate and create consensus around strategic priorities. Naturally, you will be adept at reviewing financial and operational performance, while isolating areas for discussion and challenge. Promoting excellent standards of governance and accountable decision making, you’ll also ensure that our Board continues to lead our culture and take bold decisions that deliver our objectives.
We would welcome hearing from candidates with chairing experience, a professional background in a highly regulated, customer-focused environment, and a collaborative leadership style. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive organisation which represents the residents and communities we serve, and this starts with our Board. We always look to be progressive and ambitious in our approach. If you would like to help us shape and deliver our vision, and share our pride and passion for changing lives, we would like to hear from you.
