We are supporting a growing charity giving prison leavers real second chances. Real training, real jobs, real support. We need someone brilliant to own and grow our 200+ volunteer network. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be creating something that truly matters.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and delivering the whole volunteer programme from scratch
- Building clear pathways covering mentoring, employability, events and skills based volunteering
- Recruiting, onboarding and training volunteers including prison specific compliance
- Leading engagement across 200+ volunteers with a proper comms plan
- Growing corporate partnerships that fund and fuel the programme
- Planning and delivering events in prisons and the community
- Managing budgets, policies, reporting and impact tracking
What you'll need:
- Experience managing large scale volunteer programmes or communities
- A track record of building things from scratch and seeing them through
- Confidence and experience of engaging everyone from corporates to community partners
- Understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable groups
- A self starter attitude. When something needs doing, you just do it
- Experience in social impact, employability or criminal justice? Even better…. But if not, don’t let that put you off applying!
