House Keeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our home, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have experience with laundry and cleaning tasks, with a preference for those familiar with hotel operations services. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable skills in hospitality and laundry management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the home, including bedrooms, common areas, and service spaces
• Handle laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items and distributing to residents rooms.
• Ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Ensure all cleaning standards are met or exceeded to uphold the home\’s quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Support other housekeeping tasks as needed to ensure a tidy and organized environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry procedures and house keeping is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting linens or cleaning supplies
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet operational demands

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
