Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of all foods and snacks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
- Perform all aspects of kitchen duties as directed.
- Ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area is carried out effectively.
- Report to the Cook/Nurse Manager any faulty appliances, damaged equipment or any potential hazard.
- Participate in staff meetings and mandatory training as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.
