Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including feeding, washing, bathing, dressing and toileting of residents.
- Ensure that all residents retain their privacy and dignity as far as possible.
- Appropriately supervise residents to ensure their safety at all times.
- Assist in the promotion of continence.
- Assist with the serving of food and drinks, assist with the sorting of laundry, make and change beds and ensure that bedrooms are kept tidy.
- Complete records as instructed and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings and mandatory training as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience of working in a caring environment would be an advantage but not essential.
