This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the local market well and is skilled at relationship-building, to join an ambitious team and progress swiftly within one of the UK’s leading Wealth Management firms. In this role you will work with the Financial Planning and Investment Management team to develop new business and contribute to the office growth strategy, ensuring the quality of advice and service is of the highest standard. This will involve working with and developing new external professional relationships alongside the Winchester team, while maintaining existing client relationships and providing advice and service to internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth of the business through the provision of high-quality, compliant advice and participate in marketing initiatives, collaborating with Rathbones Investment Management colleagues and other professional partners in the legal and tax community to encourage the introduction of clients.
- Deliver excellent client service by ensuring clients are advised on the most appropriate services for their circumstances; work collaboratively with other colleagues in the business to provide a consistent service; ensure clients are charged fairly in accordance with the Schedule of Charges; keep the number of clients handled within capacity.
- Manage risk by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of life, pensions, trust and investment matters; provide advice in line with legislative and other requirements; keep complete and timely records to satisfy any pension, investment or compliance changes; review clients’ personal arrangements as part of the ongoing advice service.
- Ensure that clients’ annual review services are delivered consistently and reliably and that records adequately attest to this.
Qualifications
- Experience of successfully delivering a Financial Planning service, with strong up-to-date industry and investment knowledge.
- Qualified at Level 6 as a Chartered Financial Planner.
- Proven track record of building relationships with introducers, either internal or external.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Remain conscious of commercial imperatives while ensuring that regulatory and training and competence requirements are observed.
- Highly analytical, skilled at influencing and motivating yourself and others.
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and a great team player.
