This role offers the chance to work on high-quality matters within a supportive and collaborative environment, as well as playing a key role in the future commercial development and success of the department. As a private client solicitor you will manage a diverse caseload covering wills, estates, trusts and tax planning, providing a high standard of client care to a broad client base of high-net-worth individuals, trustees, entrepreneurs and landed estates.What you’ll be responsible forManaging private client matters: Handling wills, probate, estate administration, trusts and tax planning cases; providing clear, practical and sensitive advice to clients; assisting with complex and high-value estates and planning matters.Business Development: Developing new business growth and building referrer relationships with investment managers, financial planners and trust directors, while also ensuring that the quality of legal advice and service is of the highest standard.Applying up-to-date legal knowledge to complex matters in an efficient and commercial manner.About youIf you meet some of these criteria and are excited about the role, we encourage you to applyQualified solicitor, who has reached senior solicitor standardProven experience in private client legal work for high-net-worth clients.Experience of building relationships with referrers, either internal or external.Experience of successfully delivering a client centric serviceStrong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.An understanding of key client concerns, including industry/ investment knowledge, family challenges etc.Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.An understanding of key client concerns, including industry/ investment knowledge, family challenges etc.An understanding of key referrer interests and commerciality drivers.Desirable STEP memberExperience of working within a multi-discipline firm where cross functional awareness and profile drives internal new business.
