About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will play a key role in the successful delivery of the Rathbones Institute's cohort recruitment programmes.
Working closely with our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner, Head of Institute and wider stakeholders, this role will coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity for two annual intake cohorts, ensuring a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.
The role will create relationships with key groups/organisations externally with whom we can develop a pipeline of talent
The role will act as the primary interface between the business and the RPO partner, ensuring recruitment campaigns are effectively planned, executed and delivered against agreed timescales, diversity objectives and hiring targets.
- What you’ll be responsible for
- Cohort Recruitment Delivery
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for the Rathbones Institute's two annual recruitment cohorts.
- Develop and maintain recruitment project plans, timelines and hiring schedules.
- Ensure recruitment campaigns are delivered on time and within agreed service levels.
- Monitor candidate pipelines to ensure sufficient volumes and quality of applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Work with the RPO to coordinate assessment centres, interview days and selection activities.
- Support offer management and onboarding activities to ensure successful cohort launches.
- RPO Partner Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for the RPO provider.
- Monitor performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs and recruitment targets.
- Conduct regular review meetings to track progress, hiring volumes and candidate quality.
- Escalate risks, issues and resourcing challenges as appropriate.
- Ensure the RPO partner is aligned to Rathbones' employer brand, values and candidate experience standards.
- Collaborate on attraction strategies to maximise diverse talent pipelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide regular updates on recruitment activity, market insights and hiring progress.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout recruitment campaigns.
- Facilitate interview scheduling and recruitment decision-making.
- Candidate Experience
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate journey from application through onboarding.
- Monitor candidate feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all communications reflect Rathbones' values and commitment to professionalism and inclusion.
- Recruitment Reporting & Analytics
- Produce regular recruitment reports.

- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure recruitment activity complies with internal policies, employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Support adherence to DE&I commitments and inclusive hiring practices.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records within Success Factors and related systems.
- Ensure appropriate governance of third-party recruitment activity.
About you
- Experience working in recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment coordination.
- Experience managing recruitment stakeholders and multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience coordinating high-volume or campaign-based recruitment activity.
- Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and external suppliers.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Data-driven approach with experience producing recruitment reports and insights.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
- Experience with psychometric testing
- Experience working with an RPO, MSP or outsourced recruitment provider.
- Experience in cohort recruitment programmes.
- Experience supporting assessment centres or volume recruitment campaigns.
- Knowledge of financial services recruitment. Specifically within training academies.
